Stephen and Michelene Petaia, co-owners of Duck Hollow Creative, bring a rich blend of heritage, experience, and innovation to the digital marketing space.

Rooted in both the Pacific Northwest Puget Sound and the Upper Chesapeake, their journey began with Petaia Media, a Dallas-based agency serving clients across the South Pacific, inspired by Stephen’s American Samoan heritage.

As their business evolved, so did their careers—Stephen ascended to VP of Digital Marketing at Comerica Bank, while Michelene continued her creative work and pursued a career in education. Yet, their passion for entrepreneurship never faded. Now, back in Michelene’s hometown of Charlestown, Maryland, the couple has returned to their roots, relaunching their consultancy with a mission to help businesses and nonprofits elevate their digital presence.

Duck Hollow Creative specializes in website redesign and development, SEO and content strategy, social media management, and e-commerce optimization. The name reflects Michelene’s local ties to Charlestown and Carpenters Point, as well as their commitment to collaborating with local media creatives.
